Water Damage Restoration Photo Album: Water Softener Malfunction, Water Damage Loss - Westlake Hills, TX 78746

In Westlake Hills, not far from Austin. This customer arrived home from weekend vacation to a malfunctioned water softener filter that leaked water all over the kitchen and living room space unfortunately onto hardwood floors. Its approximately 8:45 PM and our technicians are going through protocol ensuring the customer that we are going to save their beautiful hardwood floors.   The Process: 1) Our Certified technicians assessed the entire area of the water damage, and explained to the customer that the remediation process may take 3-4days for a proper dry out.  2) Believe it or Not, our Hardwood Floor Rescue Mats are dual used to extract water that has seeped between and under the wood flooring, allowing for a complete dry out in our estimated time. Extraction is done until no water is visibly seen coming from the flooring. With no water coming from the hardwood floors, Hardwood Floor Rescue Mats are applied with the InjectiDry Flooring system that pulls warm Dry air from its perimeter up through the flooring material and back to the machine. This allows for A&B Restoration Inc. to salvage the real hardwood flooring resulting from a proper dry out.  **While the equipment is on site our technicians do monitor the dry out to ensure little to no secondary damage, as well as for documentation of moisture levels for reports.**  3) Once moisture levels are met equipment is pulled out (This dry out took 3 Days) our project report is given. If no reconstruction is needed our job is done (None was needed here, we saved the flooring).   This Project our technicians used I Dri Eaz Dehumidifier,  2 Injectidry units, 5 air movers. This family was able to host family dinner in less than a week.
